Does Anyone Do Tie-Dying? If So I Need Help!

My mom and I are trying to get into tie-dying. If you have any tips, suggestions, books, websites or any other useful information that would help a newbie out, then please post it here or email me at katebug48@copperfast.com Any information is appreciated as my mom and I are going to jump into this project head first - we really have never done tie-dye before, nor have we seen it done. Please post your info here or email me. Thanks so much!

Take a look at www.dharmatrading.com . They sell Procion dyes (the best), urea, soda ash and some of the other things you might want or need for tye-dying (ie white shirts, bags, dresses, etc). If you just wanted to try something cheaper go to Wal-Mart and in their craft section they should sell a kit with soda ash, dye, instructions, and gloves. It is a pink box with a blonde girl in a tye-dye shirt. It is about $14. Good luck and have LOTS of fun!
