Send sleepover guests home with pillowcase favors as a reminder of fun memories

Materials
• Prewashed white pillowcases
• Felt-tipped fabric pens
• Cardboard

Step 1:
During the party, pass out the pens and pillowcases.

Step 2:
Kids can embellish their individual cases with drawings and favorite slogans. They may even want to pass their cases around for everyone to autograph.

Tips:
Slip a piece of cardboard inside each case to keep the ink from seeping through to the other side.

Thanks for the idea jalex! My daughter is having a slumber party next week...this will be a great activity for a bunch of hyperactive little girls (to quiet them down for, oh, twenty minutes?

Jalex,

Our church is having some of the younger youth to get together this afternoon. I'm going to call all of the girls and get them to ask their moms if they can bring a pillow case. I'll have the pens for them to use. I just think this is an awesome idea. I'm also going to use this idea for my 1st-3rd DT Class tomorrow night at church. The little ones will love this idea too!! Thanks so much for the post.

We'll have our 2-1/2 year old granddaughter for a week the first of July. She has "arts 'n' crafts time" every day and I was looking for another project to share with her --- we'll have fun with this! She can do one for herself and mama and daddy and even puppy-dog

I have had this topic saved to my favorites for what seems like forever....and now...finally...we are going to use this project Saturday for my daughters b-day slumber party. I added a request to the invitations that the girls bring either a white T-shirt or white pillow case....I bought extra pillow cases and all the fabric paint supplies, and cool shaped sponges. Thanks so much for posting this simple but FUN idea
