One way to turn a bunch of legumes into more than a hill of beans is to arrange them into a colorful mosaic. Materials Corrugated cardboard Pencil White glue Paintbrush Assortment of dried beans and peas Tweezers (optional) Step 1: To begin, sketch a design on the cardboarda simple stick figure, a geometric shape or a more detailed scene. Use the paintbrush to cover a small portion of the design with a thick coat of white glue. Step 2: Now arrange beans on top of the glued area, following the drawn figures and shapes. (A pair of tweezers comes in handy for positioning smaller legumes.) Step 3: Continue in this manner until the entire design is filled in. Then, allow the glue to dry completely before setting the mosaic upright.
