Watch your kids enjoy making a fabulously fun party favor out of simple materials or surprise them with your own creation filled with the Christmas treats of your choice.
What you'll need:
8 5-inch paper tubes (either cut a paper towel tube in half or use an empty toilet tissue tube.)
4 sheets red tissue paper, 16-inch x 27-inch
6 sheets brown construction paper, 9-inch x 12-inch
Kid friendly glue
16 STARBURST® Candy Canes
Selection of: DOVE® Milk or Dark Chocolate Gifts, SNICKERS®, MILKY WAY®, 3 MUSKETEERS® and TWIX® Miniatures.
What to do:
Cut the red tissue paper in half.
Lay out one piece of tissue paper at a time and starting rolling the tube at one end of the paper. Tuck the ends of the paper inside the tube.
Cut 2 sheets of brown construction paper into quarters.
Fold the quarters in half and one at a time cut a heart from the paper.
Glue the heart to the bottom of the tube.
Draw and cut eight sets of 4-inch antlers from the remaining paper. Glue the antlers 1-inch down on the back of the tube.
Put two STARBURST® Candy Canes into each favor.
Fill tubes until they overflow with a selection of: DOVE® Milk or Dark Chocolate Gifts, SNICKERS®, MILKY WAY®, 3 MUSKETEERS® and TWIX® Miniatures.
