Thank You Ravenlost. My husband has a GREAT personality and will have a ball with any party that comes his way. I have thought about the over-the-hill theme, and have even bought some decorations to go with it. I am looking for some unique ideas for decorations and recipes. I am have a hard time finding ideas on the net. If anyone can think of anything, please respond, for I am running out of time. My husband is so special, that I want to give him the best B-day party ever. He deserves it. God Bless Everyone.

If you didn't want to do the tombstone over the hill idea in light of the recent tragedies, you could do a time warp party.

Lots of 60's stuff. You know the love, peace, big flowers, love beads and such.

You could get some oldies cd's to do for the background music.

If I remember correctly, parties were decorated with those big flowers made from tissue paper.

In the cloth shops, you can find some of the big crazy colored prints to use for the table cloths.

Cool

You could ask all those invited to share pictures or write memories (embarrassing ones will really perk up a party!) and you could even scrapbook the stories as a gift from everyone to your hubby. If you can't contact everyone in time, incorporate it as a game, the most embarrassing or funny story about your hubby gets a prize. If you can, at least try to tape this on a cassette, but a video tape is great, too. It will allow him to look back on his special day for a long time!

party game that's lots of fun
for the young at heart!

divide guests into teams of two
give each team a roll (or two) of white toilet paper.
race to see who can be first to be completely wrapped up as a mummy.
one of team is the wrapper, one is the one being wrapped.

this is so ridiculous, it makes for some good laughs.

have a good party!
