On May 12th, I managed to win a Grand Prize in the Spin-to-Win game where the little old lady insults you. 3 nights in the Residence Inn in Times Square, NY and $250. I have my reservation, my plane tickets and spending cash in my pocket! (It didn't include airfare but I used the money to help with the tickets)
I'm excited! I usually pick junker hotels when we vacation so that I have more spending money. The guy on the phone said "I don't know if you've ever seen a Marriott on the side of the road when you're driving down the highway, but this is not like that. This is a *really* nice hotel."
It'll be my first time in New York. I'm hoping to eat a dirty hot dog from a vendor while watching the fireworks on the 4th.
