Yep, I agree. I sold two things at the yard sale I bought the phone at (my neighbor.) I had already tried taking my two bowling balls to Second Chance (like Goodwill but proceeds go to battered women's shelter) but they didn't want them so I had planned to take them to Goodwill (don't know if they would have taken them either.) Anyhow, sold 'em for $3.75 each. She wanted them for her garden.

I cannot stand to keep clutter around. I live in a mobile home and there isn't a lot of room for that sort of thing. So I give to Goodwill or Second Chance and don't have the hassle of a yard sale, trying to get rid of whatever I've accumulated.

Other than folks outright stealing at a yard sale, which is appalling, I find the most ridiculous story was about the woman haggling over a nickel item. Anything on sale for a nickel, to me, is just like giving it away.
