I'm sure the million+ uninsured kids and their families would rather have a "Health Czar" approving their medical procedures than to continue to worry constantly about every little sniffle or activity. Whatever happened to "protecting the innocent"? If someone is truly pro-life and wants to protect the innocent then they should be in favor of universal health care. Those that aren't just feed into that whole stigma that the pro-life radicals only care until the baby is born and only as long as it doesn't affect them and their wallet in any way, shape, or form.
