I got an email at 3 something this morning saying that my cousin's baby (who is almost 2) had been in a car accident. They were rear ended and that she was in the hospital and going for surgery and that she was going to be OK. As soon as I saw that, I called my mom to find out that things were not looking good for the baby. She was on life support and the Drs want to take her off but my cousin and her mom won't allow them to (which I can completely understand.) From what I understand a drunk driver
hit them going 55 (in a 35) while they were at a stop sign. She most likely has a lot of brain damage and if she does survive w/o life support she'll most likely be a vegetable but they are not completely sure.
This just absolutely sucks and it's heartbreaking, as some of you know we all ready lost one family member to a car accident earlier this year. I cannot imagine what my cousin and family are going through so if you could, please send a little thought/good wish/prayer/whatever for the sweet little baby, Zaria.
Forgot to add... that a-hole drunk driver hit them so hard that while Zaria was in her carseat it threw her out of it and she ended up between her car seat and an armrest
I'm just so sick to my stomach over this right now. Thank you to everyone for thinking about her.
