This is borrowed from another site for ya all that think you can't participate...

I just got off the phone with Kmart Corporate. I first talked to an Agent and told him that I was aware that Kmart is having double coupons in different States on October 1-Oct 5 and that they are suppose to honor doubles for me even if my store is not participating if I go in and tell the store I am aware of the doubles in the other areas.

The Agent did not know what I was talking about. I insisted that this is what some people are being told and checked further and came back to the phone and told me YES, if you are aware of the promotion they are suppose to honor the doubles, I asked if I had to have a letter from them in case the store still would not honor, he said NO, ALL AGENTS AT CORPORATE HAVE BEEN ADVISED THIS IS HOW IT SHOULD BE HANDLED.

I then asked him what do I do if the store does not want to honor and he told me to have them call Kmart National Service and they would be told to honor. I asked him what if the store gets an agent who does not know this and they told me to tell the store to tell the Agent to check because they are all suppose to know this.
