But a lot of people (on here and IRL) think I'm a 'bad' Christian because I don't believe in forcing my beliefs on others, by making laws that coincide with my beliefs etc.
I am quite sure you would lump me into the bolded comment. While you are certainly free to your own opinion, it IS only your opinion unless you can read my minds and KNOW the reasons I speak out against certain things.

BTW, we have gone over the "forcing" beliefs on others NUMEROUS times.

HOW on earth can I (or anyone) force our beliefs on ANYONE over an internet forum? (There are MANY who want abortion to be illegal who are NOT Christians as well)

I don't go around calling people Good Christians and Bad Christians.

HOWEVER, just because someone calls themselves one, don't make it so.

IMO (which coincidentally is also supported by the bible) if being a Christian hasn't resulted in any real change in your life, politics, dealings with friends and neighbors etc. Then maybe your heart wasn't in it and it wasn't a true conversion.

It is also my firm belief that ALL matters between "Christians" be settled by God's word. When many "Christians" don't even BELIEVE the Bible, I fail to see how they can BE Christians.

In the final analysis only GOD knows who the "Christians" are. IF you would lay down your life for the gospel of Christ? You more than likely ARE a Christian. IF you are unwilling to risk losing a friend by telling them what the Bible has to say about something? You aren't.

Remember Matthew 10:32-39 as Jesus says

"32Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.

33But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

34Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

35For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

36And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

37He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.

38And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.

39He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it."
