When animal out in the wild get sick their instinct is to hide, from other animals, they are vulnearable when sick. So you have a sick animal or dying animals hiding to keep from being discovered and then you have smaller animals eating it once it dies, they eat the bones also, it is a good source for calcium and then insects also eat remains, the hair woulld get blown about the wind.
Hubby has been all over these mountains here, and he said he has never seen any bear remains either, but we know their here. We have seen their foot prints and seen them. So the fact that ones body has not been found is not really that significant.
I believe this is a hoax, but I'm hoping it is the real thing. The panda was a myth at one time too, just like Bigfoot, though there were numerous sightings and prints found.
