Wow I feel better. Some of you pay a whole lot in taxes. I guess we do have it good. We lived here for almost 10 years renting. Then the owner sold to us on land contract. No money down, no bank or mortgage, same payment as our rent. And we have only about 10 more years to pay. I wish we could have the taxes and insurance included. It would make it easier. But the deal we got is a great one.
We get the discount here for the homestead act. Saves us about $350.00/yr.
