Many government offices are now 4 days with their numerous holidays which then will become a 3 day work week........

I work in the construction industry and I have suggested the 4 - 10's and I got to see first hand that the production for those 2 additional hours (including an additional break in the afternoon) really did not add up to make it financially reasonable for our Electricians. So while it sounds great in theory it doesn't actually work in reality.
