If Mumia is guilty, then he will be found guilty again at a new trial. Evidence doesn't change. It's been 13 years since I left South Jersey, but I remember how corrupt the Philadelphia Police Dept was under Frank Rizzo, and how Arlen Specter, now Sen. Specter defended Ira Einhorn and got him released on a low bail after he killed Holly Maddux. He then ran for years before finally geting extradited. I think a new trial is needed to finally end this. A lot of people, including my criminal law professor, believe he is innocent.
