Pay Pal warning
I just got a phone call I wanted to warn everyone about. The caller ID showed:
Authentify INC
847-709-0211
When I answered, it was a recording asking me to enter my Pay Pal ID. I hung up because I knew I didn't have anything going with Pay Pal right now, but the more I thought about it, I figured it was a scam. So, I called Pay Pal & they knew nothing about it. They had never heard the name that showed up on caller ID & thanked me for letting them know. I told them I was going to post on a few message boards so people were aware of this. They told me to please do that & to tell everyone not to give out any personal information.
It's that time of the year, so please be careful what information you give out to strangers.
