I heard the president’s mother say: ‘Why should we hear about body bags and deaths? Why should I waste my beautiful mind on something like that?’

Of all the things I read this was one of the most shocking. While I knew about all the contradictory statements made by members of the administration the fact that she said this was eye opening.
