It really pays to familiarize yourself with the pricing of merchandise. This way you get to know what stores sell their merchandise at a higher price than another store, who offers the best sales and clearance prices, and who runs sales more than another retailer.

I totally agree. I keep my eye out as well, and I do find wonderful deals. Kohl's is one of my favorites. Here, in and around Columbus, Ohio, we have many outlet malls as well, and if you get in at the right time of the year, they liquidate, too.
My problem sometimes, as well as many people I know is, they can't actually physically go shopping. Online sales, if you do your homework, can be just as good as B&M. There are really great finds on the internet, but you have to weigh it all, including shipping costs.
