Re: $199.99 coat for under $29 with free ship & code!

Just in case, keep an eye out on those in-store clearance deals. I've been able to beat those so-called clearance prices listed for Marshall Fields. I got winter coats for my two boys at Sears that were originally $60.00 to $80.00 for $12.00 each minus what I had a coupon for ($5.00 off of $20.00 or more). It really pays off to familiarize yourself with a store's price scheduling from full price to clearance price. In other words, whenever I'm in any store, I make a habit of checking around on the price of other merchandise that I may be able to use down the road when I happen to be in that department. I also try to get familiar when each store runs its big sales. At Kohl's, I was able to buy my two boys Lee's long-sleeved school uniform polo shirts for $1.86 and the Lee's slacks for $2.86 each. I guarantee you that you can almost find a better deal in-store than on the internet. You will find a lot of clearance items in-store that aren't available on-line for that same store. Plus, some companies allow the store managers some control on what they want to put on a clearance sale that won't appear on their on-line site and differ from store to store. That's why, if you've noticed, such posts as someone posting that they got a smoothie maker at Kohl's for $8.00+, but others couldn't find that deal being offered for that smoothie machine in their own local Kohl's. I rarely buy anything off of the internet, because I've been able to beat the prices in-store. I still go through all the deals posted here just in case, and sometimes I might find a real good deal, but most of the time I don't. The best deals posted here that I like are the printable in-store coupons (also registering online with a certain store, etc., may get you more coupons in email and snailmail for in-store use). I got a 30% off total order coupon for the Reebok outlet stores and got two pairs of sneakers for $17.00 each (one walking sneaker marked as $69.00 and one of the princess sneakers marked as $39.00--used in conjunction with a sale). It really pays to familiarize yourself with the pricing of merchandise. This way you get to know what stores sell their merchandise at a higher price than another store, who offers the best sales and clearance prices, and who runs sales more than another retailer.
