Wonderful !!!

Great post. Helping is others is the coolest thing we can do.
GinnyS your a 100% correct my brother happens to be a primary care physician and does this now for his patients. Most Doctors will not let you know about such programs, as the medical practice's are now ONLY businesses. With only one thing in mind MONEY, Well he has been doing this for the past few years, HIS office I mean, providing the sources for the pharmaceutical companies that provide these essential medications to low income patients. It is a hassle for the office but, it is good business! I am a Computer tech, but have been in the medical field for over 20 years on and off for the past 5 years so pay no attention to the man behind the Gown!lol IN the past 2 weeks have been back in the Medical office. As some might know I have thread here that deals with computer questions and FREE help. I am now back in the medical field, which some will shake their heads at, but I have made and effort to introduce this particular program which is provided by http://www.phrma.org/ to ALL patients and ALL info to expedite this opportunity to them. It is a hassle for both patient and the doctor, you need to realize the doctor does not have the time to play around with your problems after he/she evaluates your condition and sees you as a patient. But, I thought this would increase his productivity and patients feeling about the image of him. Not that he is a bad doctor, as some people travel almost 2 hours to see him but, now he is providing a valuable service to the patients and their family and friends with the care and Medication they need when they are not in a position to afford such services.

Great reply!! This is why I love this SITE, it is people like you that keep me here. THANKS!!!!
