The fact that he paid the kid off says nothing about why the cops didn't pursue the case. Oh I seriously doubt it would've have cost more to go to court, he paid millions as I understand it, Its easy to say because the family, took that huge and I'll say it again huge amount of money, were only out to get money, it might just mean they were trying to spare their son from going through the misery of a court case, why the police didn't pursue the case well if the defendant has paid the accuser off in a so called settlement and the child is no longer going to testify against the defendant you just no longer have a case to pursue. I realize you wish to believe in his innocence and I'm not saying he is guilty but his actions so far do not make him look innocent.
