I went searching for some websites on foreclosures for you I found 2 that looks promising the first one says they are associated with some big name governemnt lenders and lists them before I called the people I would look up the 800# for the lenders they are associated with and call them to make sure this group is for real and not a bunch of scam artists I would let the compnaies I called know these people are listing themselves on the net as being associated with them so that the customer service person might take a little extra time to look them up for you. Its
http://www.foreclosureassistance.com/ They also have a 1-800-513-0602 listed on their website but please check them out before you get involved with them there are a lot of scam artists out there. Also found a website with foreclosure laws by state, here it is,
http://www.stopforeclosures.com/ Now I would also call my congressman to get them to look into this situation also, I know you might not feel it is anything they can do but just the fact that they are calling and asking question at the bank might make the bank back off and accept the money you have sent, if there is any chance that the bank might be bending a rule to their benefit they might back off if they know someone with some clout is looking their way. Hubby waited 6 months for money from GI Bill to come through everytime we called they said yeah we got the paperwork but our computers are down, after 6 months of no money he went to our senators office, within 2 weeks we had a check sent to us. It does make a difference to have that kind of help even with another government agency. Good Luck!
