Also, at 13 she's probably going through some hormonal changes and has a few problems of her own ... body changes, zits, feeling ugly, peer pressures, wanting to date, and so on. I'm not defending anything that she's said or done, but if she's like most teenage girls, she's not really plugged in right now.
My girls were selfish, self-centered little b!tches for about two years ... constantly saying horrible things to me and about me ... rebelling over everything. Just remember, it will pass as Queensown says.
In the meantime, just take care of yourself ...
