**Dipped Marshmallows**
1 bag large marshmallows
250 ml (1 cup) milk
10 ml (2 tsp) vegetable oil
chocolate chips
Assorted sprinkles
colored sugar
coconut
crushed nuts
Melt chocolate chips and oil together over low heat (or about 1 min. in microwave).
Have your child dip each marshmallow into the chocolate (so about half of it is covered), then dip and roll in the sprinkles.
Place on a cookie sheet covered with wax paper to harden.
Give away as gifts (if you know anyone who actually might enjoy eating something like this!) or enjoy yourselves.
For Valentines Day, you can use pink, red or white sprinkles - and try using white chocolate too!!
**Scoop of Love**
Laundry detergent scoops (cleaned)
Candy (conversation hearts or Hershey's Kisses or Hugs)
Ribbon
clear wrapping
construction paper (for the tag)
Wash and dry scoops well.
Fill the scoops with choice of candies, cover with clear wrap.
You may wish to put the candies into a plastic baggie.
Tie with ribbon and add a bow.
Add a message on a heart shape tag which reads...
For conversation hearts "A scoop full of love for you from ...."
For Hershey's kisses "A scoop full of kisses ..."
For Hershey's Hugs - You get the idea!
**Footprint Valentine**
red construction paper
white tempra paint
scissors
glue
purple construction paper
Place child's feet in to white paint and place on red construction paper at an angle.
Do one, then the other - creating a heart shape with the 2 feet.
Let dry and cut 1 inch fro each side of the red paper.
Place a the purple paper behind it and staple or glue to "frame" the valentine.
You can use glitter and stickers for added decoration!
